A growing number of U.S. residents report a lack of trust in federal, state and local public health agencies when it comes to vaccination. But, in a 2025 poll from KFF, 85% of respondents identify their doctor as the most trusted source of vaccination information. This member toolkit provides resources to encourage conversations between families and healthcare professionals for shared decision-making on vaccination.
The resources focus on the August-September back-to-school period, which coincides with the August observance of National Immunization Awareness Month. Additional resources will be added to continue these important conversations throughout the year, among various target audiences from expectant parents to older adults.
