Mark Stauder, 2025 Board Chair

Mark S. Stauder is the Chief Operating Officer at Hackensack Meridian Health, President, Hackensack Meridian Hospitals Corporation and President, Hackensack Meridian Ambulatory Corporation. Mr. Stauder is responsible for the operation and management of 18 acute care hospitals, including: two children’s hospitals, a long term acute care hospital, and specialty hospitals. Additional responsibilities include the ambulatory care division, care transformation services, network-wide transformation and integration, patient care services, and all facilities and construction.

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, he served as president and chief operating officer for Inova Health System. Mr. Stauder was responsible for senior level health system strategy oversight of regional business development, health plan strategy, clinical quality and effectiveness, information technology, human resources, system service line development and growth, Inova Medical Group (Inova’s integrated physician group), and Inova’s five hospital campuses. He served in senior roles at St. John’s Mercy Health Care in St. Louis, MO and Sisters of Mercy in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Missouri.

Mr. Stauder received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City and his MHA from St. Louis University.
