PfP Resources for Patient and Family Engagement
One of the goals of the federal Partnership for Patients (PfP) campaign is to promote greater patient and family engagement in health care in all settings and activities. To that end, a compilation of resources is now available for those seeking to advance their organizations in this area.
This compilation represents a growing inventory of emerging best practice tools and resources to help facilitate the engagement of patients and families in their care. The resources listed have been identified and collected through a survey of hospital engagement networks, PfP stakeholders, PfP hospital executives, and patient advocates, as well as other sources.
The tools in the inventory are divided into three main categories: clinical/point of care; policy and design; and governance. The list also includes a number of tools that focus specifically on vulnerable populations. The goal is that these tools will serve as a critical resource to support the rapid spread of emerging best practices in patient and family engagement among PfP partners.
The inventory will continue to be regularly updated and expanded upon based on feedback and suggestions. View or download the list.
